At age 5, when asked what he wanted for the holidays, Alex asked for “electric lights, wires and batteries”! At that early age, the magic of electrons had already gripped him. Over the past 60 years, that magic has never left him, and, even though today the electrons do far more sophisticated things than make lights glow, Alex deeply understands how it all works.
The “wire nut” as he is sometimes called has had jobs ranging from V.P. of Technology for a Wall St. brokerage firm, where he installed one of the 1st PC networks, to helping build a long-distance service reseller from 15 people to over 100 in 2 years, including building and running the IT department and designing a billing software system that is still in use almost 30 years later. From there, he went on to IT Consulting, starting solo and with one client, and growing it to where it is today, and where it will be in the future, with his two fantastic partners.
His corporate experience and his consulting experience taught him that Customer Service is the most important element of building a successful business. His motto is “Our business is Customer Service, and our product is Technologies”. It’s a winning formula that keeps his clients close and loyal. Alex was born and has lived his entire life in NYC, and in his spare time still plays with wires, lights and batteries!
